(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Thursday July 04, 2013, a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer observed a white Pontiac Aztek parked in a parking lot at an apartment building along Victoria Ave South in Listowel. The vehicle was found to have been reported stolen from Orillia on July 03, 2013.
A male with the key to the vehicle was located at one of the apartments. He was arrested for being in possession of the stolen motor vehicle.
Gary SMITH (41) of no fixed address has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and breach of probation. He has been held in custody and is to appear at a bail hearing on Monday July 08, 2013 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford.
