(BLUEWATER, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to attend a farmer’s field near the intersection of Staffa Road and Parr Line last night for the recovery of a burnt out stolen All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV).
Just before 8:25 p.m. the property owner came across an ATV fully engulfed in flames approximately 100 metres off the roadway in his field. By the time police arrived on scene the machine had been reduced to a shell.
Upon checking the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) of the ATV police have determined the burnt out ATV was a 2004, 4×4, green Kawasaki Bayou. The ATV was stolen from a residence located on Richmond Street near Centralia sometime between 5:00 p.m. on August 12th and 9:00 a.m. on August 14, 2017.
