(BRANT TWP, ON) – On June 1st at 11:51 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single vehicle crash with a hydro pole along Bruce County Road 19 in Brant Township. Officers arrived to find that a Black Hyundai Tiburon left the roadway and struck a hydro pole on the west side of the road. Hydro service was affected by the crash, but power has since been restored. The driver was determined to be under the influence of a drug. 18 year old Steven WILKEN of Brockton was charged with Impaired driving. He is scheduled to appear in provincial court on August 6th, 2012 to answer to the charge.
