(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Sunday March 13, 2011 before 1 a.m. a Perth County OPP officer observed a fast moving pickup truck travelling north bound on Hwy. 23 through Atwood. The officer locked the speed of a pickup truck in on radar and subsequently pulled over the vehicle.
The officer spoke to the male driver and observed signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville where he failed breath tests.
Steven Seebach (27) of Edgerton Alberta was charged with impaired driving and with operating a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood. He is scheduled to appear in Listowel Provincial Court on April 06, 2011 to answer to these charges. His vehicle has also been impounded and he has been issued a 90 day drivers licence suspension.
