(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Saturday August 23, 2014, shortly before 1 a.m., a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol in Listowel stopped a motorist on Davidson Ave, North near Winston St. East. The male driver of the car failed a roadside breath test. He was transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville where he failed two Intoxilyzer breath tests.
Steven GODFREY (47) of the Municipality of North Perth has been charged with, “driving with more than 80 mgs. of alcohol in blood†and “driving while under suspensionâ€Â. He was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to attend at the Ontario Court of Justice in Listowel on September 24, 2014, to answer to these charges. His vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
