Stephen Haasnoot – Drunk Driving

(HOWICK, ON) – A red Ford F-150 caught the attention of a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer after it left the Belmore arena parking lot during the early morning hours on April 14, 2013. At approximately 2:30 a.m. officers stopped the vehicle on Margaret Street and immediately detected the driver was displaying signs of impairment by alcohol. Officers arrested the driver for impaired driving and transported him to detachment for breath tests. He provided two samples of his breath; both over the legal limit.

Stephen HAASNOOT, 28, from Wroxeter has been charged with impaired driving and Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Wingham on May 16, 2013. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and the motor vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
