Stephen Brown – Drinking and Driving

(KINCARDINE, ON.) – The South Bruce OPP is reporting at 7:30 pm on September 5, 2009, a vehicle stop on Concession 8, Brant Township revealed the driver had been drinking alcohol. 37 year old Stephen Brown of Chesley is charged with Operation of a Motor Vehicle – Over 80 milligrams. Brown will appear in Provincial Court on October 5th, 2009 to answer to the charge.

The South Bruce OPP has a zero tolerance for mixing alcohol and driving. Motorists are reminded of the penalties stemming from drinking and driving including an immediate drivers licence suspension and the vehicle is towed from the scene at your expense. A first time offender is subject to a fine of $600, an additional 1 year driver’s licence suspension and reinstatement fees through the Ministry.
