On September 7, 2015 at approximately 8:20 pm Waterloo Regional Police responded to an altercation in the area of Lancaster St and Victoria Street Kitchener. Upon arrival, a male was located and taken to Grand River Hospital from an alleged stab wound. A 48 year old Kitchener resident was arrested a short distance away. He faces charges of Aggravated Assault, Assault with a Weapon and Breach of Recognizance. He will appear in court on September 8, 2015. The injury sustained is not considered life threatening.
