Investigators with the #2 District Criminal Investigation Bureau are working to determine what took place after a man was stabbed at a motel in the Town of Richmond Hill.
On Wednesday, August 25, 2016, at 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a report that a man had been stabbed at a motel located in the area of Yonge Street north of Gamble Road. When police arrived they found a 20-year-old man suffering from a stab wound. The man was transported to hospital where his injuries were determined to be minor and non-life threatening.
Investigators spoke with several people who may have been involved in the events that led up to the stabbing, however the investigation in still ongoing.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity at the motel prior to 8:30 p.m. who have not yet spoken to police, to please come forward.
