A 20 year old Chatham man is in custody this morning facing Attempt Murder and Assault Charges after he was arrested following an incident which took place on Harvey Street in Chatham at approx. 2:00 a.m. on this date. At the time of this report the lone victim, a male from Chatham is at PGH being treated for a stab wound to his abdomen. It is not believed to be life threatening at this time. The investigation is in its early stages and ongoing. No other details available at this time.
The male suspect was remanded in custody following a video Bail Hearing on Saturday. He had been arrested for Attempt Murder but that has since been changed to Aggravated Assault and Weapons Dangerous.
