(WALKERTON, ON) On June 10, 2013 at 4:58 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a vehicle theft from a residence in the 200 block of Prince Street in Walkerton. The Blue 2007 Dodge Charger was located, damaged, at the Walkerton Fire Hall. The suspect was located nearby with the assistance of the OPP West Region Emergency Response Team and the OPP West Region Canine (K9) unit. 19 year old Spencer POWERS of West Grey Township has been charged with Theft over $5,000, Dangerous operation of motor vehicle, Breach of recognizance and Disobey court order. He was held in custody pending the results of a bail hearing scheduled for June 11, 2013 at 2:00 pm.
