On the 15th of April 2015 a Waterloo Regional Police traffic officer conducting speed enforcement locked a white Honda at 90km/hr in a 50 km/hr zone on Homer Watson Boulevard near the Bleams Road roundabout. As a result of the traffic stop, the 20 year old Kitchener driver was charged with Over 80, Novice driver with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) above zero, Young driver with a BAC above zero and Speeding 90km/hr in a 50 km/hr zone. He is to appear in court on the 29th of April 2015. Police are reminding drivers with the warm weather upon us to be conscious of road safety and operate their vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
