On the 25th day of April 2015, Traffic Services were conducting speed enforcement near Homer Watson Blvd and Block Line Rd, Kitchener. At 5:10pm, police stopped a black Mustang for driving well in excess of the speed limit. A Kitchener male has been charged with stunt driving, speeding in excess of 50km/h over the limit and failing to surrender the permit for the motor vehicle. The driver has lost the privilege to drive for 7 days with his driver’s license suspended and his vehicle seized. Waterloo Regional Police remind all motorists of the potential risk to public safety of excessive speed and encourage everyone follow the rules of the road.
