On April 6, 2014, a member of Traffic Services was monitoring speeds of motor vehicles with a laser speed detection instrument on Edinburgh Road South near Oriole Crescent.
At 3:40 p.m., a 23-year-old Guelph male was clocked travelling 96 km/hr in the 50 km/hr zone. The male received a Provincial Offence Notice for speeding with a fine of $341 and four demerit points.
