Saugeen Shores Police continue to search for “Jim“ Armstrong. Members of the Ontario Provincial Police Crime Unit and Emergency Response Team are assisting with the investigation. OPP ERT and Saugeen Shores Police officers will be conducting searches in Southampton including backyards and vacant or seasonal property. When the weather is suitable, a search with the OPP helicopter will be conducted along the shoreline.
Police have received information that a person matching the description of “Jim” possibly purchased a CAN-AR bus ticket at Ralph’s Shoppette Thursday 10 March 2016 around 7:00 am and was let off the bus in Walkerton at 8:10 am. We are trying to confirm this report. There were two other persons on the bus that left Port Elgin that morning. We are trying to identify those persons to see if they have any information that could assist in our search. If you were on the bus that morning or dropped someone off at Ralph’s about that time please contact Saugeen Shores Police at 519-832-9200.

Missing Person Update
The Saugeen Shores Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing person.
“Jim” Peter James ARMSTRONG has been missing since the early morning hours of March 10th from a residence in Southampton.
“Jim” is described as 5′ 9 tall 160 pounds
