Theft From Auto
On Monday, January 30, 2017, around 1:30 p.m., an Innisfil man parked his truck at the Innisfil Beach Road commuter lot near Highway 400. When he returned to his vehicle after midnight, he discovered that the black three piece tonneau cover on his pick up truck had been stolen. The truck was parked at the west end of the lot.
Anyone who may have seen suspicious activity is asked to call South Simcoe Police or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Drive Under Suspension
On Monday, January 30, 2017, a South Simcoe Police constable was monitoring the stop signs at West Park Avenue and Outlook Avenue. We have received a number of complaints about vehicles ignoring the signs in this neighbourhood. Around 5:15 p.m., when the officer stopped a vehicle for a stop sign offence, he discovered that the driver was also under suspension. A 27 year old Bradford woman has an upcoming court date, charged with Drive Under Suspension and Disobey Stop Sign.
