Warrant Arrest

On Monday, December 19, 2016, a woman was at the Barrie Court house when a South Simcoe Police court officer recognized that the woman was wanted on a South Simcoe Police warrant. The 57 year old woman was arrested and processed on the warrant for Obstruct Justice. She was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Vulnerable Person Registry

Recently, we have located or been called to locate several vulnerable persons. Due to the extreme weather, it is imperative that those people be located quickly before tragedy strikes.

Precious minutes can be saved when we have this information. You can attend either police office during business hours and register your vulnerable loved ones in case of emergency. Anyone, old or young, who may be vulnerable due to cognitive difficulties is eligible for this service.
