(Innisfil, ON) South Simcoe Police are applauding two Innisfil neighbours after they alerted police to a prowler. Around 1:45 a.m., the two men were sitting on a porch in the Osbond Road/ Swan Street area of Alcona when they saw a suspicious man checking cars on their street. When they called out to the suspect, he ran off. The men then call 9-1-1 to report the incident. Officers were unable to locate the prowler, but say the actions of the men probably prevented thefts.
