Missing Person Located
(Innisfil, ON) On Monday, February 13, 2017, around 10:00 p.m., South Simcoe Police were called to a Sandy Cove address. A woman reported that her elderly husband was overdue from a shopping trip. Numerous officers searched the area looking for the man and his vehicle. Just after midnight, a patrolling officer spotted the man’s car and was able to get him home safely. He had become lost and confused during his travels.

Drive Under Suspension
(Bradford, ON) On Tuesday, February 14, 2017, just after midnight, a South Simcoe Police constable saw a car he recognized in the Sobey’s parking lot in Bradford. The officer was aware that one of the regular drivers of the car was under suspension. When the vehicle left the parking lot, the officer stopped it nearby. The driver was indeed under suspension, and the 25 year old Bradford man was charged with Drive Under Suspension. He will appear in court in March. The vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
