Stolen Auto

(Bradford, ON) South Simcoe Police are requesting the assistance of the public in a stolen vehicle investigation. A Barrie man reported that on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, he parked his beige 2004 Jeep Wrangler in the 88/400 commuter lot in Bradford around 5:30 p.m. When he returned at 11:30 p.m., he found the vehicle missing and broken glass on the ground. The keys were left in the glove box. Anyone with information on this theft is asked to call South Simcoe Police or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Suspended Driver

(Innisfil, ON) On Tuesday, October 11, 2016, a South Simcoe Police constable operating a cruiser equipped with an Automated Licence Plate Reader was alerted to a passing car in Stroud. When he stopped the car, he found the licence plate validation expired, and the driver under suspension. An 85 year old Innisfil man is facing charges of Drive Under Suspension, No Validation On Plate and Fail To Carry Proof of Insurance.
