Domestic Assault
(Bradford, ON) On Thursday, February 9, 2017, around 9:15 a.m., South Simcoe Police were called to a Bradford home for a domestic incident. A youth refused to go to school and became embroiled in an argument with his parents which escalated to a physical altercation. During the incident, the youth armed himself with a kitchen knife. He was arrested without incident and held in custody for a bail hearing.
A 16 year old Bradford boy was charged with Assault, Assault With A Weapon, 2 counts of Threatening and Weapons Dangerous. The victims were not injured.
Warrant Arrest
(Innisfil, ON) On Thursday, February 9, 2017, South Simcoe Police Detectives were investigating a stolen property occurrence when they became aware that the suspect was also wanted in Manitoba for Sexual Interference. After confirming the existence of a warrant, the man was located and arrested. A 25 year old Innisfil man was held for a bail hearing, charged with Possession of Stolen Property. At the conclusion of these charges he will be turned over to R.C.M.P. to be processed on the Manitoba charge.
