Trespassing
(Innisfil, ON) On Thursday, February 9, 2017, just after midnight, South Simcoe Police were approached by a concerned citizen who has seen suspicious people with flashlights near an abandoned house. Six young adults were found to be trespassing inside the unoccupied building which they claimed to have found on an internet list of abandoned homes.
One of the group, an 18 year old Georgina woman, was found to be in violation of her bail. She was held in custody for a bail hearing on a charge of Fail To Comply-Undertaking.
The other suspects were cautioned and released. The public are reminded that after hours thrill seeking of this nature is illegal and dangerous.
