Festive R.I.D.E.
(Innisfil, ON) South Simcoe Police were out conducting R.I.D.E. on Thursday, December 1, 2016 in a number of locations in Innisfil. Coupled with last night’s impaired driving arrests, these R.I.D.E. results are very disappointing. Officers are discouraged that drivers are still making the wrong decision and driving under the influence when there are so many other options available. Call a cab, stay the night, have a designated driver or take public transit.
R.I.D.E. Report: 116 cars stopped
3 – 3 day suspensions
1 – 24 hour novice driver suspension
Drivers under 22 years of age are reminded they cannot have any alcohol in their system while driving a motor vehicle as it may result in a licence suspension and a fine.
