(SOUTHERN BRUCE COUNTY, ON) – A winter storm passed through Southern Bruce County on March 3rd, 2012 bringing with it high winds and periods of heavy snow. Between 8:00 am on March 3rd, 2012 and 8:00 am on March 4th, 2012, the South Bruce OPP responded to 11 vehicle crashes. Some of the crashes resulted in very minimal damage; only 1 crash resulted in minor injuries. Electronic traction control systems, anti lock brakes, 4 snow tires and reducing vehicle speed will keep you safer for winter driving. During severe winter storms, motorists are asked to consider postponing their trip in the interest of public safety.
