Snowmobiler Airlifted To Hospital After Launching Off Row Of Round Bales

(MUNICIPALITY OF BROCKTON, ON) – On February 16, 2017, at approximately 5:56 p.m., South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an address on Concession 14 East in the Municipality of Brockton in response to an injured male as a result of a single snowmobile collision. The incident occurred on private property.

Investigation revealed the male was operating a Yamaha RX1 snowmobile across an open field when he launched the snowmobile off a row of round bales and was ejected.

The victim, a 25-year old Brockton man, was air-lifted to a London hospital with life-altering injuries.

The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigative Unit (TTCI) attended the scene and is assisting with the investigation.
