Snow squall watch in effect for:
Goderich – Bluewater – Southern Huron County
Listowel – Milverton – Northern Perth County
Stratford – Mitchell – Southern Perth County
Wingham – Blyth – Northern Huron County
Strong northwest winds are expected to bring snow squall activity inland towards the region beginning this afternoon. Local snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm may be possible by Wednesday morning. Visibilities could be significantly reduced due to heavy snow combined with blowing snow.
Snow associated with an area of low pressure will taper off this afternoon. Snow squalls are expected to develop in the wake of this low and continue into Wednesday.
