Snow squall warning in effect for:
Goderich – Bluewater – Southern Huron County
Wingham – Blyth – Northern Huron County
Snow squalls continue over the region giving low visibilities in bursts of heavy snow and blowing snow along with rapidly accumulating snow. Snowfall rates of a few centimetres per hour are possible under the strongest bands.
Poor winter driving conditions are expected.
The squalls are expected to slowly weaken today.
Snow squalls cause weather conditions to vary considerably; changes from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are common. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations.
