Snow Squall Warning For Wingham, Blyth, Goderich and Bluewater

5:50 AM EST Thursday 16 February 2017

Snow squall warning in effect for:

Goderich – Bluewater – Southern Huron County

Wingham – Blyth – Northern Huron County

Snow squalls will continue this morning.

The most significant snow squall is located in the area between Goderich and Grand Band extending southeastwards. Snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm per 12 hours are possible under the heaviest snow squalls.

Snow squalls are expected to diminish late this morning or near noon.

Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas.

Snow squall warnings are issued when bands of snow form that produce intense accumulating snow or near zero visibilities.
