Snow Squall Warning – 20cm Snow Possible – Travel Expected To Be Hazardous

Snow squall warning in effect for:

Goderich – Bluewater – Southern Huron County

Stratford – Mitchell – Southern Perth County

Wingham – Blyth – Northern Huron County

Lake effect flurries and local snow squalls are expected to become more organized this evening and intensify overnight. Under the snow squall bands, visibilities will be reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and local blowing snow. Snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm per 12 hours will be possible.

Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations.
