Snow Squall Warning – 15cm Snow Possible – Near Zero Visibilities Possible

Snow squall watch in effect for:

Goderich – Bluewater – Southern Huron County

Wingham – Blyth – Northern Huron County

There is potential for the development of snow squalls beginning this evening. Under the most intense snow squalls, local snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm are possible. Also, visibilities may be significantly reduced due to the heavy snow.

Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

Snow squall watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the formation of bands of snow that could produce intense accumulating snow or near zero visibilities.
