(SOUTHGATE TWP, ON) – On July 17, 2012 at 2:06 pm, the Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of animal cruelty at the Maple Grove Trailer Park along Highway 89 in Southgate Township. Officers arrived to find that a small dog had been set on fire. The dog was found deceased at the scene.
The Grey County OPP is investigating this act of animal cruelty with the assistance of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to animals.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to cal the Grey County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
