(ST. MARYS, ON) – On March 24, 2018, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a theft occurrence in the town of St. Mary’s. Officers located a male subject who was taken into police custody without incident.
The male was then taken to a local hospital where it was confirmed he had sustained an injury.
The OPP has notified the province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) which has invoked its mandate. As a result the OPP will not be able to provide any further information. Any other inquiries should be directed to SIU Communications at (416) 622-2342.
