(HURON EAST, ON) – On July 12, 2019, at approximately 5:26 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Huron County Detachment assisted Huron County Paramedic Services with an un-cooperative individual at a residence in the Municipality of Huron East.
The individual sustained an injury which required medical attention and was transported to hospital.
The OPP has notified the province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU), which has invoked its mandate. As a result, the OPP will not be able to provide any further information. Any other inquiries should be directed to SIU Communications at (416) 622-2342.
