Single Vehicle Crash – One Air Lifted To London

(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) – On Monday, August 6, 2012 at approximately 5:20 p.m. Perth County OPP officers responded to a single vehicle rollover collision on Road 150 just south of Line 39. Officers were assisted on scene by Perth County paramedics and West Perth Fire Department members.

A grey Ford F-150 pickup travelling southbound on Road 150 left the gravel roadway and entered the east ditch. Both occupants were ejected from the vehicle.

William LEPPINGTON, age 23, from the Municipality of West Perth was transported via air ambulance to Victoria Hospital in London with life threatening injuries. Sherry GARRETT, age 28, from Granton was transported to Victoria Hospital in London with non-life threatening injuries.

Members from the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) team attended the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation. The roadway is now open.
