As you probably now know, it is not only our council that is
corrupt, it is a pandemic that has shattered public confidence
across the entire province of Ontario. Politicians will do as
little as they possibly can, as there is zero accountability and
horrid transparency. We are still waiting confirmation that
North Huron has opted out of using the free service of the Ontario
Ombudsman, and has opted to pay someone. If this accusation is
true, then council would be in charge of who investigates them when
complaints arise. If this is true, you must ask yourself why
council would opt spend taxpayer money when a free, unbiased option
is available. If they were unaware the Ombudsman option was
available and free, then they have failed horribly at their
jobs. This is possible, as they were considering spending
thousands of dollars on software” so the town’s website could have
a feature to convert the text to voice. This was apparently
for blind people that could somehow navigate the internet and got to
the site
