Waterloo Region, ON – A team of police investigators consisting of members of the Homicide Branch, General Division Detectives and Forensics officers continue to look into the circumstances that led to the death of two people in Kitchener.
On Sunday June 14, 2015 just after 10:00 a.m., police responded to a home on Brock Street after receiving reports of gun shots. A man and a woman known to each other were located by officers and pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police have been in touch with their families and are now able to identify the deceased persons as Lorrie Lynn Baechler, 40 years, and Robert Murphy, 44 years, both of Kitchener.
A post mortem examination has been scheduled in Hamilton to confirm the cause of death of both individuals.
Police have no concerns for public safety in connection to this incident and are not searching for suspects.
