On Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 7:50 p.m., police responded to the area of Mooregate Crescent and Hazelglen Drive, Kitchener in response to gun shots. Police arrived on scene and located 3 blank casings in the parking lot of 15 Mooregate Crescent, Kitchener. A canvass of the area was conducted and several people heard the shots and advised a vehicle was observed leaving the parking lot shortly after the shots were fired.
