Yesterday afternoon, the man attended Walmart on St. Clair Street in Chatham and was arrested for shoplifting. Upon being searched, police found the man to be in possession of crystal methamphetamine.
Douglas Couvillon, 40 years, of Park Street in Chatham was charged with theft under $5000, possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000 and drug possession. He was released pending a future court date of November 26, 2015.
