Shoplifters Busted – Cory Hodges – Ashley Hudson – Jazmyn Goddard All Face Multiple Charges

(Goderich, ON) On December 10, 2010 at approximately 3:00 pm Huron OPP officers were notified of a theft occurring at the Goderich Suncoast Mall. Two females and a male had been observed by staff removing items from the store and placing them into a blue Neon car. None of the items, including toys, clothing and a television had been purchased.

Officers knew who the suspects were and attended at a residence in Vanastra where they located the vehicle and the suspects. Some of the stolen merchandise was found in their possession. Some remains outstanding.

Cory HODGES (23) is currently facing one count of Breach Probation, one count of Fail to Comply with Undertaking, one count of Theft Under $5,000 and three counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. He was held in custody after the incident.

Ashley HUDSON (19) of Huron East is facing one count of Theft Under $5,000 and three counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. She will answer to her charges in the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on January 17, 2011.

Jazmyn GODDARD (18) of Huron East is facing three counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. She will also answer to her charges on January 17, 2011 in Goderich
