On Sunday November 17, 2013 at 3:34 p.m., the Guelph Police attended to the LCBO located at 995 Paisley Road in response to a theft report. Information provided was that a female was stealing merchandise from the store and she had left in a vehicle. Police observed the vehicle travelling east bound on Paisley Road travelling at a high rate of speed approaching the Hanlon Expressway. As it merged onto the Hanlon it forced several vehicles onto the shoulder of the road.
The vehicle was stopped by police as it approached Wellington Street and all three occupants were arrested.
A 32-year-old Kitchener female has been charged with theft under $5,000, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and possession of stolen property. She will appear in court on December 20, 2013.
A 39-year-old Kitchener male has been charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of stolen property. He will appear in court on November 18, 2013.
A 29-year-old Kitchener female has been charged with theft under $5,000, possession of stolen property, obstruct and breach probation. She will appear in court on November 18, 2013.
The value of the theft of alcohol was $385.30.
