The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man in connection with a shoplifting incident in Chatham last night.
Just before 8:00 p.m. police responded to Walmart on St. Clair Street in regards to a theft complaint. An employee observed the man open a Telus cell phone package and conceal the cell phone and sim card on his person. The man exited the store making no attempt to pay for the merchandise valued at $225.
Andrew Sellors, 35 years, of Park Avenue in Chatham has been charged with theft under $5000. He was released pending a future court date.
