On January 23rd, 2015, members of the Waterloo Regional Police attended a shoplifting call at Walmart located at 2960 Kingsway Drive in Kitchener. As a result of the investigation that followed, a 22 year old Cambridge male was arrested and held pending a bail hearing for charges including theft of a motor vehicle, theft and possession of stolen property, mischief and breach of probation. In conjunction with the arrest and the recovery of some stolen property, Police are asking residents in the Heiman Street and Highland Road area of Kitchener who may be missing items from their vehicles to contact Central Division at 519-653-7700 x 4499 or Crime Stoppers 1 800 222 8477.
