Barrie police were called to a Mapleview Dr department store for a report of store security in a foot pursuit of a theft suspect.
Store security chased the suspect down Mapleview until the suspect began to tire and then surrendered”.
Security arrested the suspect and held him for the Barrie Police.
A 23 year old Barrie male was found to be on a charges for a similar occurrences and is now facing a bail hearing.”
