(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit are investigating a shooting and assault which occurred at 3:50 am on August 10th in the Ritchie street area.
A group of individuals who had gathered in the area are believed to have discharged a number of shots before confronting two victims and assaulting them and then fleeing the area. Both victims received non-life threatening injuries and were transported to hospital.
