(BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – The Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the Bruce Peninsula OPP Crime Unit and members of the Grey County OPP Crime Unit; are conducting an investigation into a shooting.
OPP responded to the Town of South Bruce Peninsula at 7:25 p.m. on July 14, 2015. A male was transported to a local hospital and treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries sustained during the incident.
Police have arrested and charged, four males persons; one adult and three youth, in Grey County early this morning without incident. They are facing charges of; Aggravated Assault, Use of a Firearm, Possession of a loaded Firearm and Robbery with Firearm. Three of the accused males are being held for a Bail Hearing on July 15, 2015 at the Owen Sound Court of Justice. The fourth male will be held for a bail hearing on 16 July 2015 at the Owen Sound Court of Justice.
Investigators are at the early stages of this investigation; names of the accused will not be release under the authority of the Youth Criminal Justice Act which prevents identifying a Young Person charged with a criminal offence.
