(Ottawa) The Guns & Gangs Unit of the Ottawa Police Service is investigating a shooting on Hooper Street.
At 3:15 pm, on the 29th of December 2013, a 29-year-old man attended a local hospital with a gunshot wound. Police were alerted by hospital staff and attended.
Upon speaking with the victim, police learned that the shooting occurred at approximately 2:50 pm on the same day. The shooting took place in the 900 block of Hooper Street. There is no description of suspects at this time.
The victim was treated and released from the hospital.
