Shooting investigation on Grant Street

(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit are investigating a shooting that took place on the 1 to 100 block of Grant Street at 1:55am on March 18th. Police were called after a single shot was heard from the resident owner.

Patrol Officers attended the 911 call finding evidence of a single bullet hole and the corresponding projectile near a window of the first floor. There are no injuries to the two occupants who were inside the residence at the time of the shooting.

Guns and Gangs Unit continue the investigation.
