(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service attended a parking lot in the 900 block of Debra Avenue at 6:15pm on Thursday January 7, 2016 following calls about gunshots.
Patrol officers and Ottawa Paramedics attended the scene where a male victim was located with injuries when numerous gunshots rounds were shot at the vehicle he was in. The 24 year old male victim was transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries. One other person who was inside the vehicle was not injured.
The police investigation led by the Major Crime Unit continues.
