(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is investigating a shooting that took place in the 300 block of Forest Street on the 19th day of August 2015 at 7:53PM.
Police responded to several calls from the public regarding the sounds of gunshots from the area. Police were able to discover the exact location of the shooting and speak with members of the public regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident. Several people were seen fleeing from the area and information was received that multiple vehicles appear to be involved.
The Guns and Gangs Unit is currently investigating.
