Shooting At Richmond And Carling – Blood Found On Scene

On Saturday, November 19, 2016, at approximately 1:30 a.m. the London Police Service responded to a report of a shooting in the area of Richmond St at Carling St in the city of London Ontario.

Evidence of a shooting was discovered at the scene which indicates that several shots had been fired from a firearm. Public safety was jeopardized by the individual or people responsible.

The scene was examined by members of the Forensic Identification Section and it has since been released.

Blood was discovered at the scene which would indicate that someone may have been injured, however no victims were at the scene upon police arrival.

No arrests have been made and no weapon has been recovered at this time.

Police are appealing to members of the public, including anyone who was in the area at the time of the shooting, to contact investigators.

Members of the Major Crime Section are continuing the investigation.
